Most new floor coverings require a standard or tolerance to be achieved on the subfloor to ensure the longevity of the product and also for warranty purposes.
Every surface needs to be clean, level, free of existing adhesives and within moisture tolerances, for the type of flooring you will be installing.
Using our commercial-grade grinders, commercial vacuums, and self-powered generators, no job is too big or small. Dust mitigation is a huge priority of ours as we understand this is concerning for our finished residential jobs.
We can also provide concrete subfloor assessments, testing and reporting.
Floor prep is the process of preparing the existing flooring to receive new flooring and ensure that your new flooring will look great, lay flat, stay bonded, and not fail.
In many cases, the existing flooring needs to be removed which can lead to many issues. Although there are some flooring products that can be installed over your existing floor to address issues, you'll want to check with the flooring manufacturer and follow their guidelines.
